On this day in App State history …

APP!!!! STATE!!!! APP!!!! STATE!!!!– In 1999, App State beat Tennessee Wesleyan, 112-48. It was the third-most points scored in school history, and set all-time marks for most accurate shooting (.710; 44-of-62), assists (32) and victory margin (64). It was also the first of 11 straight wins.

– In 2003, App State beat James Madison, 58-55, in Boone. The Apps shot just .322 from the field, the lowest such percentage in Jones Arena history.
