    My wishlist for 2009:
    1. 2009 FBS National Championship
    2. 2009 Payton Award- AE
    3. 2009 Buchanon Award- take your pick of a defensive player
    4. 2009 National Coach of the Year

And finally, I want to hear the announcement that ASU and West Virginia will be playing at some point in the near future. I had a chance to go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl last weekend and let me tell you that WVU fans are the real deal. Good tailgating and a loud crowd once the game starts. Forget playing UNC, I showed up in a WVU shirt(supporting former ASU coach Lonnie Galloway and his new team) and the Heels fans treated me, an NC native, like I was some inbred hillbilly. Lets play WVU and some other schools that will appreciate our program and the great game that they will get from us.

You don't want to go to Morgantown for a game. WVA fans can be brutal on the opposition. My former principal who himself was a D1 player himself said he would never return as a spectator after what he witnessed when watching his son play a game there.

2008 once ate a whole cake before his friends could tell him a stripper was in it.

WVU can be brutal but I've been to games there and they can be a lot of fun too! With a lot of friends and family that have gone (or continue) to go to WVU I hope we can play them in the future! What a great match up it would be with the offenses we both run!

Windfonk, Brian McLawhorn who covers the Apps for Mountaineer Illustrated on Rivals.com confirmed that this is indeed true. It is unaware of exactly what position, but it is believed to be as co-offensive coordinator at Toledo. I say good for him. In reality, Toledo is a step above us in the perceived pecking order of college football, whether it's true or not. This is a promotion for him and will result in a wage increase I would imagine. What's humorous is that the Rockets won at the Big House this past season and became the first MAC team to beat MIchigan at home, just a year after ASU shocked the world. I still find it funny that people that the Toledo win was a bigger upset. But I guess that's a compliment to how well respected we are! Good Luck to Satterfield though, and there are rumors that Elliot might be leaving also, which I put some stock in considering the Satterfield thing turned out to be spot on.
