Don't Miss

Just sit right back and you'll win a game, a game with a faithful tip

Pretty …. and shiny!App State was back in Jones Arena last night. The foe was NAIA Milligan.

Thankfully, they were no NAIA UVA-Wise. This is how a D1 rolls.

The Mountaineers (5-4) led by as many as 71 points last night, taking a 110-39 lead on a steal and layup by Donterious Hughes with 2:47 left.

Donald Sims and Ryann Abraham led the Mountaineers with 17 points each. Sims didn’t play in the second half after bruising his tailbone. Abraham wound up with nine assists.

Hughes, Jeremi Booth and Josh Hunter had 11 points apiece for the Mountaineers, who were playing for the first time in 10 days and at Holmes Center for the first time in 17 days.

Box score.

If Milligan is a tricycle, here’s comes the hawg. The Apps take on No. 8 Texas Friday. Wonder if he’ll catch the game …

Hopefully, Sims is not injured too badly. While he hasn't played his best thus far this season, his absence against Texas would not be helpful.
