Best credit card debt I ever went into! Sat amongst the UM fans and the silence of 100k+ fans never sounded sweeter. One of the best parts was driving back home through Ohio and having all the ND, MSU and OSU fans giving us the thumbs up as we rolled down the highway.

OSU fans still love us. I went to a wedding in Columbus a few weeks ago, and I told some OSU grads where I went to school. "You don't know how happy your school made me." It was great.

So many memories from that game. Driving all night to get to Ann Arbor at 5am. How time does fly. Seeing that video and the Penn State fans brings tears to the eyes.

That is one of the best videos ever made… it's impossible to describe that feeling of what it was like being in the stands when Corey blocked that kick. Simply unforgettable.

I second what Chuck said too. I also tend to tear up when I see those parts toward the end. I think the music has a lot to do with it too… but yeah it feels incredible.

Do you remember how inevitable a loss seemed to Appalachian Nation in the final minute? Then the block, and PURE ELATION!!!
I was an undergrad listening to the radio.
The final play brings tears to my eyes every single time I see it.

It's GREAT to be a MOUNTAINEER!!!

Watched it at Stool Pigeons in Charlotte, will never forget the chants of "block that kick!" and the eruption when we actually did. Unbelievable game, couldn't talk the rest of the weekend I screamed so hard.

a couple of my buddies go to PSU, they said the crowd would cheer harder for the APP-MICH score than the actual game. Then again PSU was playing florida international. I dropped to my knees when corey blocked that kick!

Such a great game and a great experience for Appalachian. Everyone realized what all App fans already knew, that we have a special football program in Boone. I threw on the dvd of that game last night and needless to say I was hype the entire game. So many ups and downs, outstanding plays. When Jackson broke for that huge TD to tie it 7-7 was AWESOME. Burnt the entire Michigan D. GIVE EM HELL SATURDAY BOYS!!!

Wow, i agree with everyone else…chills and even a little teary eyed. Still a little bitter that the NY Giants won the espy for biggest upset that year by beating the Patriots in the Superbowl, but that's espn for you. Can't wait to make my first trip to Greenville Nc saturday! Can't get here soon enough. Go Neers!
