Agree asu7… we need to make a statement. We need to show the FCS and the SoCon that they still need to be afraid of the Mountaineers!

    GO APPS!!

I don't see "Average number of yards allowed by ASU defense this season." Too painful?

Hall of famer Avery Hall said on the radio tonight that his termite team could have done a better job stopping McNeese than App did. He said it is NOT talent. These guys need to stop talking big picture and play one damn game at a time. I still don't like they way they were talking. Still talking conference champs and playoffs. As Avery said, "These guys have only had success. We'll find out Saturday how tough they are."

On Jerry Moore's radio show last night he referred to the defense as "grumpy." He also said they lined up wrong 30 times in the McNeese St game.

No excuse for lining up wrong … lack of focus and poor preparation = bush league

If it happens again someone needs to lose their job …

I do not think it will happen again.. After the game the defensive captain got them in a corner of the locker room and let them have it! They turned complacent and did not prepare properly — the fault of both the coaches and players. During this time, one of the players who had problems stopping his assignment, apologized to his team and said he should not have been playing in his condition. The thing is, that player was/is not hurt — something emotional going on there so I expect some changes.

Last year, there wasn't any leadership. When they lost, they all just sat there, "listened" to coach, and hung their heads. This year, after last weeks loss, the locker room was not a fun place to be (so I hear). Expect some changes — the leadership is finally coming around, and the complacency is gone!

Good news for the O-line. Pre-Season all conference Daniel Kilgore will be starting and playing in his 1st game of the year. Injured and did not dress for 1st 2 games. It's our turn to start climbing up the ratings chart.
