    WOW. another amazing video.
I love the Richmond footage (i didn't like the game), it was a cool way of showing a frustrating snowy game that should leave a bad taste in our mouth for a long time.

Children read this blog. If they didn't, I'd say what that video did to me.

No complacency in the ASU Football Video Department.

That may be the first video in two years that did not have anything about Michigan. I can never see that JMU fumble too many times.

I wish someone would make a clip of that fumble with the radio call over it. Was listening to the game at home that day, my in-laws thought i'd lost my mind when that happened.

I think its Cardwell…wonder if the the lack of Michigan was on purpose? Also, nothing from a championship game.

Guess they're letting the rings collect dust.

This video reminds me of he good ole days when we threw the ball to Jorden and down the field to Quick. Someone should show it to the staff and remind them.

I don't care what anyone says, Dillman gets people fired up.

Take your rings, put them in the trophy case and let their ass collect dust until you're done playing ball you can look back and say we won a national championship!

    I love that line!

I like the old footage of Brown, DJ Campbell, Daniel Jeremiah, et. al. And was that our upset victory over Marshall? Can't think of anyone else who wears that shade of gross green.

I agree with midwest. The fire seems to be lacking this year. I know the weather was bad but the team didnt seem to play with the energy they had in the past.

DJ Campbell on the keeper…back when the offense was like watching paint dry.

Lol Joe Burchette! I remember having an econ class with him and during a test, he was trying to get some sort of formula out of the professor, who obv. wouldnt give it him cuz it was cheating, and then he stormed out of the classroom and punched a hole in one of the hallways walls in Raley. That guy was a psycho!

I always thought Joe was an aight guy. Guys that played with him when was at App said he had more talent than anyone but he never worked at it. I think he really wanted to throw the ball around but that was "when the offense was like watching paint dry."

Dan, if you click on the "HD" icon and turn it off, it loads easier and that'll cut out the choppy.

I have to say, back when DJ Campbell was QB, football games were simply a social venue, a town square event if you will. The games were boring, but at least the booze (and women) were flowing…so it was always a good time.

Now, the students seem to be more into our team and the game itself. I'm sure the booze (and women) are still flowing…and it's probably an even better time.

No offense to DJ Campbell…sounds like he's having a successful career as a plastic surgeon.

Hi DJ–I'd like to upgrade to double D (his old girlfriends from college).

D.J. was a real student, interviewed the math department on his recruiting visit. And for all the grief the "old" offense takes (and I, too, find this one more exciting), it should be noted that the 1995 team accomplished something that none of the national championship teams have achieved: an undefeated regular season, 12-0. Also, as has been pointed out on this site by DRM and others, going back a little further, the 1975 team defeated Wake Forest, ECU, and South Carolina (if that happened now, midwest would be insisting that we play in the Sugar Bowl). All this to say that ASU football has–as the video notes–a LONG tradition of winning teams. The thrills didn't start with Edwards or Williams, despite what the junior posters on this blog may think. Like youth is you know like sorta like uh wasted like on the you know young.

Isn't that the truth, Naysayer! And, sadly, wasn't youth also wasted on us when we were young. How does the adage go? I wish I had known then what I know now, and I wish I felt now as I did then?

Brown to Beasley–#2 (perhaps #3) all-time QB to #2 all-time receiver. And yes, that ugly green is Marshall. Other than back in the days when we played W&M, I can't think of another green regular season opponent. A little green would be refreshing; now, just about every second game we seem to play someone wearing purple.

    Naysayer,

Great point on the 1975 team. I would also add that ECU needs to beat us 8 more times to even the historical record.

I never grew up, so I'm still wasting my youth doing things like, let's see, you know, like sorta bloggin' at the computer, you know?

I've gotta admit it…we made a mistake letting Jeff Dillman go…that guy has more heart than anyone, and you can tell it's missing this year…

    September 30, 2009 at 5:24 am

Ok, if these guys need a strength coach to get motivated to play their best and win games, we are in serious trouble.
