The color for surrender meets the color of Money, as Halloween starts early. Bobby Lamb’s been fighting fright since Monday! Elsewhere league-perfect Elon goes to Wooford, Lil Sammy is at El Cid and the ‘Whee in ‘Nooga. No word on where our last Halloween treat is today.

According to the forecast, App State may enjoy some home field advantage at Furple Saturday. Throw in the Solid Gold motif, and hey, the Apps are up before kickoff! Seriously, Furman has always been dangerous at home. And we’ve yet to see a … /cliche alert .. back-to-back “complete game.”

It’s official! Saturday’s “White Out” at Furman will clash with another App State color! So …
What do you think of going Gold? I LIKE IT! LOOKS SWEET! BEWARE THE KILLER BEES! Meh. Whatever gets your TD on. Worst. Color Choice. Ever. I don’t care what color they wear. I’d watch them naked! I don’t care either, but I WILL draw the line at naked. Other (leave a comment) pollcode.com free . . . → Read More: AppFan Poll – Pure Gold

A couple weeks ago we said App State would be going Gold against Furman. And some dared doubt us. Come on! Would we ever lie to you? – “when Furman requested to wear its white jerseys as part of a promotion during Saturday’s game, ASU decided to break out the gold threads one last time.”

AE’s heir apparent speaks – “Life is about patience,” Cadet said. “And I’ve got a great quarterback in front of me. It’s not like I have somebody that’s not good in front of me. It’s Armanti. He’s a two-time All-American, a two-time national champion. I’m not frustrated. I’m patient. I’m not rushing.”

App State owns the top offense in the land – 507.14 yards a game.
Sounds impressive right? Not really. At least, not when you just look at the App offense in conference games.
In league contests, the Apps are covering 541.8 yards a game. A! GAME! Aaaaaaand … 7.4 yards a snap. PER! SNAP!

Prior to the season, we had five questions for this year’s App State team. Midway and one week through the season, we thought we’d revisit them.
1. WILL AE PLAY THE ENTIRE SEASON? After missing the BotB due to some overzealous landscaping, Money has been just that, albeit it in a totally unexpected way. The Fastest Man On Earth is no longer running, but gunning. He among the nation’s most accurate passers, and has become almost Brady-like with . . . → Read More: App State Review: Revisiting five questions
