Don't Miss

World's oldest lesson still unlearned

Dudes. Seriously. Never listen to a woman. Never. It only leads to trouble.

And if anyone has vid of the takedown, puh-LEEZE send our way. It was more vicious then this.

That guy was almost into the end zone before Gainey even noticed.

Well, I think they got just about every word in there.

Congrats guys, your buddy got slammed and arrested and you pushed him to do it and celebrated about it.

I really, really, really hope these aren't ASU students as my degree just diminished in value if they are.

Maybe Jerry Moore should hire the security guy that took the kid out as a defensive coach. It was the best hit all game.

The only thing that would have made it better is if it were Flag Guy from the marching band that took him out. I imagine flag guy taking the kid out and then throwning his arms and head back to strike the perfect pose.

Disappointed the security guard didn't throw the Q after the tackle.

Side note, I've not seen a flag guy lately, thank God.

That right there is a classy female!
That may have been the slowest streak on record…he just came lightly jogging by us with his socks on and his hands up and he was still leaving the uniformed officer in the dust. Great hit though. The tackler came walking up the sideline with a huge grin on his face, genuinely accepting the fans accolades.

I remember that tackle from the '07 playoff streaker. The crowd erupted for that one too. I remember it being a cold November day, that cold field and track probably didn't feel good on the bare chest. What an amazing win over JMU…I will never forget that fumble recovery.

I was right at the spot where he got taken down. I honestly believed the kid thought he was going to get away, but he ran straight at the security guard. The guard practically clotheslined him. Best hit of the day.

What a dumb ass. I laughed at the hit when it happened, but it was pretty blatant police brutality. I wish our team could hit like that…illegally

Note to self, do not look back at whose chasing you, look ahead to see when your clock is going to get cleaned.

I'm sure that female's parents are proud as is the wonderful son who was arrested.

Funny but also sad to see how easily these two kids were pressured into going. I was sitting behind the 07 playoff streaker and that poor kid didn't even have a buddy there to pick up his clothes wallet and cell phone that laid in the stands long after he was arrested. Very amusing though.

There is no way this girl is hot enough to let her talk that kid into anything. He should have told her @$$ to get out there and do it.

  19. Michael

    September 13, 2010 at 11:01 am

That kid needs to do everything he can to dissociate with that video now that it's on youtube. Employers find that kind of stuff. He very well might need to transfer. So sad. So stupid.

    September 13, 2010 at 11:12 am

I just can't get over how sad and pathetic that whole thing was. If you enjoy spending the night in places OTHER than jail, but your "friends" get excited about the idea that you'd do something that would get you there, find new friends.

I met some of the best friends of my entire life when I was at App, and they never in a million years would have called me "f**ing p***y" for anything. App State had some of the classiest people in the world as their students when I was there, and I have no doubt there are still plenty of them. Why those two kids don't hang around them, rather than some stupid drunk girl who clearly doesn't care one bit about them, is beyond me.

It was funny. I laughed. Folks that work security at games should be forced to run suicides.

I like what appfantoo said. And if the guy had gone down the other sideline, Irvin could have taken him out.

Someone HAS to have a video of this somewhere… I listened on the radio, so I didn't see it. If it's as epic of a hit as it sounds like, I've got to see it.

Then there's this one that was pretty funny:

second best hit of the game….kid should watch where he was going instead of where he had been…what a dumbass…classy young girl too….I know her Dad is proud

The takedown was awesome! I was stilling on the 30 yard line of the east side and it was powerful. The non-cop should have just speard him.

The guy who posted the video said:

At least it was an idiot from outside of the ASU student body

    Stupid is as stupid does.

This girl would make any father proud. She should spend a night in jail with Helga.

The guy that took him down was a former All-ACC linebacker (according to my teacher and former AD). Taking him down the way he did actually kept him from getting hurt.
