Green Bay at Carolina. Philosophically speaking, if Hey Mr. DJ flattens the Greatest App Ever, how are we to react? Cheer? Curse? Or remain neutrally silent? /mind reels. The two play special teams, so such a conundrum is highly probable. Outside of that, ain’t happening. AE isn’t expected to see any WR time soon. As for the roll call – Bucs (Superman) at Minnesota, Denver (Sticks) plays Cinncy and San Fran (Kilgore) takes on dem Cowedboys Cowboys.
AE six yard PR
big tackle by DJ on Goodson…ron pitts says "appa lay chin" state
dj with the tackle on special teams
Um, would have cursed. Armanti is a panther, DJ's a packer. What's there to question.
The Vikings apparently had to hold Lynch to keep him away from a punt.
Saw Lynch is on a special teams tackle or two. He still has a great instinct on getting to the ball. No real shots for Armanti to do much yesterday, but DJ was all over the place on special teams. Any word on how the rest looked?
I was at the game yesterday and DJ Smith looked really good. He was flying to the ball. Armanti could have had some big returns if he had any blocking, but he did well too. Also, Cam Newton is a really exciting player to watch. I'm glad he's our qb of the future.
Cam Newton has been impressive the past two weeks, but someone had better figure out how to get some form of a running game going soon. There is no way the Panthers go .500 this season counting on 400 yard passing games from Cam every week. Chudzinski is going to have to allow for some patience in getting the running game going or defenses are just going to ignore it and key in on Newton.
DJ and Corey listed with 1 solo tackle each. Hunter with 2, in the box scores.
AE listed with 2 PRs for 11 yds.
Watch for some news on Legree coming soon. I'm not sure what's up, but a few people wrote on his Facebook wall saying, "Bye Dre," and there's an article online saying the Dolphins were looking at him. Possibly moving to Miami? Maybe this is all just speculation and he's just moving back home–who knows?
Jon Gruden just took a nice shot at Dexter Jackson on MNF. Glad to see he is not still bitter about that draft pick. I believe even the true ASU faithful would admit that the Bucs REEEEAAAACCCCHHHHHEEEDDDD to pick Dexter that early. Maybe if he had gone 4-5 round he would have had more time to adjust to the NFL.
What is Jacque Roman doing now? Carolina lost Davis for the year Sunday…
The Panthers already signed some guy to replace Thomas Davis. It wasn't Jacque Roman. It won't be Jacque Roman.
