NFL thread – Beware know nothings in booth

INT!Interesting read – “Daryl Johnston, the Fox color man, said Smith’s throw was “placed perfectly” and that safety Corey Lynch was “a little bit late getting there.” Yet other, unused camera angles showed “Lynch, the safety, wasn’t late getting there. He was doing his job and covering somebody else.” Superman will be doing his job in New Orleans today. DJ Smith and Pack in San Diego. Jason Hunter and .. /bows down … his Tebowish in Occupied Oaktown.

    Nothing for DJ.

    Nothing for Corey.

    Nothing for Hunter.

Wow, that sucks, continuing the theme for the week.

Some of these former player, 'color commentators' don't take their jobs very seriously. But not Troy Aikman. That guy knows his stuff and puts a lot of preparation into each game he covers. It's always a pleasure to listen to him breaking down plays. Him and Ron Jaworski are the best in my book.
