The EKU vs JMU is on the U. There's 176 people in attendance

As bad as the attendence is as the JMU game, what a crowd at the Old Dominion game, big . . .

Old Dominion is going to be a big time FCS program for as long as they are in this division.

JMU gets lucky. Last play F/G wins it. EKU led by 10 and then went in the tank.

We should use Deandre to run an end around option pass like Albany just scored with against Stony Brook.

Watching Michigan beat Ohio State with Rich Rod's athletes and an Armanti look alike at quarterback kinda puts a smile on my face. The Upset is still having an impact!!

I think AppFan is losing it's luster as a public message board.

ODU is in the Tidewater, Virginia area which has a population of about 1 million. Lots of good recruits in SE Virginia who want to play football and stay home. I look for ODU to make the move to FBS within the next 3-5 yrs.

ODU has that many basketball prospects in it's area and sucks in that, too.

I hate JMU, but that was a fun game to watch. AT&T Uverse TV is the best for sports when you need to watch mutliple games.

5 teams from the CAA is ridiculous. I don't care what Furman's record is, they would stomp a hole in Lehigh or JMU. 4 teams from any conference should be the limit.

Lehigh is not in the CAA

Never heard of half of these teams so find hard to care about any game that does not involve App.

Hey App Fans, just went to get my ASU playoff tix and 4 sections are already sold out with few seats in some. Thought I'd share for those who don't have the Playoff tixs yet.

^ AWS – What an idiot response. He is just providing some heads up information to fans who have not bought their playoff tickets yet.

Judging by many of the posts here, AWS, I would say alot of people care about attendance

    November 28, 2011 at 6:53 am

Yes, a good loud crowd will help our team. We are 6-0 at home and 2-3 on the road. However, many of those seats are being held for season ticket holders until 4:00 pm Tuesday. I hope all season ticket holders show up, but that want happen.

    November 28, 2011 at 6:54 am

    won't

  23. Reese

    November 28, 2011 at 7:15 am

Yeah, with all these people that support the FCS playoff scenario as the best thing that's ever happened to football, you think that more season ticket holders would show up for a playoff game, right?

It's ironic that there is all this animosity on this board against moving up to FBS, yet season ticket holders probably won't all show up to support our team in the playoffs.

Sorry to open that can of worms again on another thread, but I couldn't help but point it out.

  24. Reese

    November 28, 2011 at 7:16 am

But anyways, this game on saturday is going to be tougher than people will imagine. Maine is a solid team that is going to come to play. Can't wait to watch the game! Let's go Apps!

anyone know if the game will be televised anywhere? especially espn3?

  26. mockenburd

    November 28, 2011 at 7:35 am

Yeh, Reese, your preacher wonders why YOU can't be at church the day after you root hard for your football team. Moral….not everyone has the same priorities, right? Relax….enjoy rootin'….

  27. dore

    November 28, 2011 at 7:39 am

pretty sure all the playoff games are on espn3

  28. Reese

I concur dore, I feel pretty sure that they are on the espn3 website.

I am a season ticket holder and will be making the drive up this Saturday. Go App!!

  30. sideline

    November 28, 2011 at 10:12 am

Most season ticket holders will be there. Not all but most. Don't worry Reese after we move football will be over in November so you won't have to count empty seats anymore. Then you will be able to make it to every BB game.

  31. sideline

    November 28, 2011 at 10:23 am

One other thing Reese. When it comes to the move many don't want to make that move with me included but I don't see the animosity you speak of. I actually see it just the other way. I see those that want to make the move calling us JV and all that other nonsense. Just sayin.

    See you at the rock.

  32. Keith

    November 28, 2011 at 10:55 am

I agree with those that have said most season ticket holders (including myself) will be there. However, a couple thousand really good seats will open up Tuesday night. So if you don't have tickets for Saturday yet, wait until after 4:00 on Tuesday and you may get a great seat(not that any are terrible, except for the grass, which there will be no need to sell).

    Sideline,

with regard to the FBS/FCS debate: I find that most are civil on both sides. There are a few bombthrowers on each side that assure everyone the sky is falling, but most are civil in wanting what is best for ASU……but of course if we join the SunBelt I might lose my civility:)

I agree I was just responding to Reese. His comment was directed at people who are invested in the program and it just gets old.

    docsny:

Here is the link for buying championship tix through the NCAA website where I got mine: http://www14.ticketingcentral.com/V2/Quantity.asp

They were $35 apiece when I got 'em the day they were released. Looks like they've gone up since to $45. If App doesn't make it, I might have 2 extras available for face value to an App fan (they would be right beside mine, after all)!
