Shut up people. The production value on that video was amazing and the shots of campus were great. If you hate rap, you hate rap. The only thing I would suggest to "Mickey T" would be to add girls to the video. Can't have a rap video without hoes.
I don't think the HHH video is in the same category as Davis after dentist ect, but when you're writing a love song, its very convenient to have "Hot Hot Hot" is your repertoire of usable lines.

I think both videos would make you want to go to App State. I'll have to use that line, "You remind me of Appalachian State, because you're so HOT HOT HOT!" That's really cool.

I have no issues with style as long as there is substance. Not a lot of substance here.
Two of my biggest pet peeves:
1) cliche
2) white people trying to rap.

It's cheesy, but it's fun…and that was the entire point of it. Not like "Mikey T" is trying to 50-cent here and go all gangsta. If you didn't laugh at least a little while watching this you need to find ways to get more enjoyment out of life.

Sombody told me i just didn't give it a fair shake so I watched it again. i was wrong the first time. This time I discovered that it REALLY sucked. ECU would not be far enough away.

College is a place to party and have fun but, it is not a place to be a fool! That being said I thought the vid was well done and I think the kid has talent. Wow Lacrosse, I just watched the video for party on 5th av. I was unaware that this wasn't an original piece. It makes the whole thing seem pretty disingenuous. Whoever made this video is talented. Mickey T is not. I also saw another YouTube video of him rapping into a mic, but reading his lyrics off his IPhone. I do like the video though and I'm glad it exists.

I just happen to think that white rappers who grow up in the suburbs are inauthentic. Besides, "Boonetown" is a college town, not East St. Louis, Watts, Harlem, or 8-mile. It's just stupid as he is branding App as a party school and not an elite institution of higher learning.

Ugh – Thirty years from now, kids will be singing this crap reminiscing about being young again. I wonder if I'm getting older or the music is really getting worse. I vote for the latter. (yes…, our parents said the same thing about us when we were in college)

We also have very high admission standards. This is why App offers, overall, the best college experience in NC. We have it all.
Not into rap, I don't know if you consider it good or bad for what it is. One thing for sure though is that it is not good PR for the university.
