Preparing – “Lanston Tanyi, a LB who missed much of last season for an unspecified university issue, is back with the team. So is Kendall Lamm, an OT who was dismissed for a conduct issue. LB Justin Wray, who missed last season recovering from shoulder injury, and RB Rod Chisholm, who sat out for academic reasons, are expected to participate.”
PAUSE. Given the tenor of the comments, we’re debating suspending any more on this thread. We have no clue as to the specifics of why players were suspended last year, or why one is suddenly back on the roster. We are not comfortable with the named accusations on this thread, given that there is no public confirmation of anything. We will only add that is it our understanding that students can accuse peers of misconduct under the school’s code of student conduct. These accusations are then heard in a type of student or campus court. Many drug and alcohol offenses are treated this way, which allows the university to keep such offenses out of the public record. We understand that various people know so-and-so who talked to whatshisname and know the real deal. Unless there’s a public record or legal document attached to the rumor, please refrain from spreading it here.
