This is amazing. Two AA in one year is quite a feat to say the least. Austin lost to the national champ in OT, then went on to take 3rd. Thats amazing. Kyle came all the way back to wrestle in the conso finals. VERY impressed and proud of these men. Wrestling is a lifestyle. Its a full time job because of eating habits. Its a constant sacrifice and these men found the prize. Congrats to TWO APP STATE ALL AMERICANS!

I second that. I wrestled for 11 years and stopped my senior year of HS… no way i could endure that lifestyle in college (or probably make a college team). It really is a lifestyle, congrats fellas!! You make ASU very proud!

MONSTER effort by these two. I don't think people quite understand how momentous this was.

Both wrestlers had bad draws in the tourney, and had several "upset" victories along the way to accomplish this.

Blevins lost in the first round and came all the way back to wrestle for 3rd. That is almost impossible to do at that tournament.

Seeing Trotman on tv in the semis was truly awesome.

Great job guys, you made all of us wrestling alumni proud!!!
