Nooo!!!
Damn
Like I said in another thread, don't be surprised to see Sumler move to DB. We hare lacking in DB depth BAD. He's already a work in progress at receiver. Why not make him a work in progress in a position we desperatly need? He's the size for it. And, oh yeah, HE's FAST AS HELL! We have receivers for days. I doubt he would get many reps at wide out anyway and he can still take kicks. Rememeber how successful Deandre was when he made the switch to DB? One of my favorite things about General Moore is his tendency to put his best players on the field.
that hurts….Hope he gets that medical redshirt. Come back as a sophomore (again) next year with a vengence!
Alex Gray (true freshman, #25) was apparently impressive this fall. I don't know if he's still nursing an injury or not…also #29, Krah, a freshman who took Middleton's place Saturday is supposed to be good….then there's #4 Walker, who was supposed to start or be on the 2 deep at corner anyway. I think he's battling an "illness". We are young at the position, and losing depth. But, hopefully one of these young guys can step up. Losing Blackmon in the pre-season didn't help either. He would probably have started.
Barnes needs to start in front of Blalock and we need Lott back. Barnes can play corner as well as safety.
It's so great to be talking about football again, lol. The wait between Jan – Aug is too long.
Hate to see that, didn't look that bad on TV, but knew it was when he wouldn't put any weight on that leg going off the field.
Jerry mentioned moving Lott to CB (after Montana of course) on the teleconf today, or starting one of the 2 young players that are CBs. Doubt they take Sumler from WR, doubt he would want to either.
Hope his surgery went well
Sumler doesn't move.
And hits just keep on coming after the game is over.
We talked about this a little bit on the AppStateCentral.com weekly podcast tonight. Listen at http://appstatecentral.com/content/podcast
We also talked about the ECU game and previewed the Montana game with a well respected Montana fan and writer.
At least we get Lott back for the Coastal game.
I have 3 tickets east side. For the Montana game for sale. $ 40 each or best offer. My old lady left me this weekend and I just can't bring myself to go. Bigasufan@gmail.com
Dang. Sorry about that Darian. Best to you.
Darian: had I not already gotten tickets, I would take them from you. All the best to you and yours. Sorry to hear the bad news.
