Everybody point at Stink, laugh

We shouldn't speak too soon .. they play us tight/points, laughs – “The Citadel’s Thomas Warren kicked the game-winning field from 37 yards with 35 seconds left to edge Georgia Southern 23-21 on Saturday night.” Of course, El Cid kinda scares us. But for now … /giggle. Also, Furple goes 3 OTs with Coastal Carolina and falls to 0-2. ‘Nooga went down too. In the penthouse, there’s talk the ATU has been overtaken. Maybe, but only if Arkansas goes 9-3 and beats defending BCS champ in a bowl game. Then ….. no, it still isn’t bigger.

Anybody with any info on the Citadel win? Looking at the stats and they were dominated in every area.

Citadel is no push over this year

  • ULM is an FBS team in the SunBelt. We were (and still are :( ) an FCS team when we defeated Michigan.

The Citadel is always tough early in the season. The Citadel always fades down the stretch. Happens every year.

Proof that you NEVER take a win for granted. Like Nick Saban said last week, "if the experts are right we don't need to play the games".

El Cid pulling off the upset shows we have to prepare, prepare, prepare for next week.

Congrats to them for pulling off the upset bc it helps us that GaSo has a conference loss. Now BEAT CITADEL.

ESPN is reporting that Arkansas' plunge from the rankings is the second-worst drop for an NCAA team…the Michigan loss compliments of us still stands.

El Cid will be riding high after the win against the stink. I don't think this game is as close as people think.

I like playing Citadel before Georgia Southern and Wofford. By all accounts, The Iggles and Ankle-Biters run a better version of the triple option than the Bellhops do. However, The Citadel's QB is the one who made the "comeback" against us last year in Charleston — let's hope our guys remember that, and prepare hard for this game!

    I still have no voice!

One game at a time…we sometimes develop a sense of overlooking games and it comes back to bite us. I wouldn't underestimate The Citadel and honestly wouldn't overlook Coastal Carolina either after they took Furman to the house. Take them as they come..

  • I'm interested to hear viagra-casino-sex-blowjob-transvestite's take on the Citadel's win.

Sorry. No analysis from viagra-casino-etc. Sometimes we have a spam filter fail.

harping on this Cid-GSU game is exactly the mentality that we don't need….and I hope our players aren't laughing, either. This makes it appear that GSU is a big deal and that the Citadel is a given win for everyone. We've had some close calls and losses in games following big wins over the years…and Citadel would love to finish their comeback from last year's game.

It was not surprising to me to see that The Citadel played Georgia Southern so close again. These two teams have a history of close, hard fought games. I was surprised that Citadel actually managed to pulled this one out. They will be a team to be taken seriously when they come to Boone. I would imagine that their thinking would be that if they could knock off GSU and Appalachian State in consecutive weeks that their chances of winning the SoCon are really good and will at least get a playoff slot.

Yea, this just proves that we learned NOTHING from the Michigan win. You have to take EVERYONE you play seriously. You start laughing and you start losing. El Cid will be loaded for bear. Just think….if they beat us after beating the Red Necks they will have resurrected their program AFTER TWO GAMES!

They will be locked and loaded my friends. You can take that to the bank. Guys you better come out focused or you will be carrying you a$$ in a bag back to the locker room.
